Buenas Ideas: Thanksgiving

Well, Thanksgiving is almost here.  How did that happen?  I feel this year has completely flown.  Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays for so many reasons.  Obviously, the food, but it is also such a great time to catch up with family (or friends) you may have lost that constant contact with.  Holiday traditions are so personal and special to the individual.  This year we're having our Thanksgiving with friends, but family will definitely be on our minds.  I thought I'd put together a quick bit of inspiration for this year's get together.

I love the natural quality of these table settings.  It is so easy to forage items for the table rather than wasting.  Check out the details behind the photos hereherehere, and here.

As a vegetarian, it can sometimes be difficult to really indulge during the holidays.  However, some of my favorite food blogs made it really easy this year!  Check out these recipes, and go hungry no more!!

Pumpkin Swirl Cheesecake + Vegan Stuffing from The Minimalist Baker

Hasselback Potatoes from Feasting at Home

Garlic Mashed Potatoes from Food by Mars

Brown Sugared Carrots from Martha Stewart

Acorn Squash from Let the Baking Begin

There are the staples such as a nice bottle of wine, apple cider and hot cocoa, but if you are feeling a little more adventurous, you can try a few of these delicious (and beautiful) options.

Cranberry Bubbly from Waiting on Martha

Mulled Wine from Gimme Some Oven

Boozy Pumpkin White Hot Chocolate from the Minimalist Baker

Cranberry Sangria from What's Gaby Cooking?

Here's a little freebie for you all!  Download a simple printable place setting card by clicking here.  Then simply fold it in half and put at each place setting.

I hope you all have wonderful Thanksgivings (or Thursdays if you don't celebrate)!!
